PPA Staff Hold Educators’ Retreat At Loyola Retreat House
Preparing for a New School Year: A Day of Prayer and Reflection
As we prepare to welcome our students back for a new school year, our teaching staff recently took time away from the usual pace of preparation to pause, pray, reflect, and prepare together.
Our faculty spent a full day at the Loyola Retreat House for a retreat focused on prayer, reflection, and preparation for the year ahead. It was a valuable opportunity to step back from the many details and responsibilities that come with a new school year and to refocus on the mission at the heart of our work: serving and educating our students.
Throughout the day, our staff had the opportunity to reflect on the year ahead, deepen their spiritual preparation, and consider the many opportunities and challenges that await us. Time spent together in prayer and reflection helps strengthen not only our individual commitments, but also our sense of community as we begin another year together.
We are grateful to DOXAcademia, Inc. for thoughtfully planning and organizing this meaningful day. Their work helped create a retreat experience that gave our faculty the space to renew, reflect, and prepare for the important work ahead.
A new school year always brings plenty of excitement—and its share of challenges, too. After a day of prayer, reflection, and preparation, our teaching staff is ready to embrace all that the coming year will bring.
We’re ready for a great school year!
