Joy Is Here: Welcome to a New School Year at Padre Pio Academy
The halls of Padre Pio Academy are once again filled with the sound of backpacks un-zipping, friends reuniting, and teachers welcoming students back for another year of learning and spiritual growth. The new school year has officially launched, and with it comes a theme that captures exactly what we hope every child, family, and staff member experiences this year: Joy Is Here.
Why "Joy Is Here"?
At PPA, joy is something we intentionally build into every part of the school day. From the moment students walk through our doors in the morning to the final bell in the afternoon, we believe joy should be woven into how we teach, how we pray, how we play, and how we treat one another.
That means joy in the classroom, as students discover new ideas and grow in confidence. Joy in the chapel, as our faith community comes together in prayer. Joy on the playground, in the classroom and social hall, and in the small moments between classes. And joy in the relationships between teachers, students, and families that make PPA feel less like an institution and more like a home.
This year's message is a reminder — to our students and to ourselves — that a joyful heart is at the center of a life well lived, and a joyful school is at the center of a life well learned.
