The School Year in Review: 2024–2025 at Padre Pio Academy

As we close the 2024–2025 school year at Padre Pio Academy, we pause to reflect on the blessings, growth, and grace we've experienced as a community. This year has been one of purpose, perseverance, and joy—filled with moments that reflect the heart of our mission: forming students in truth, faith, and virtue.

Academic Excellence Rooted in Faith

From Kindergarten to our graduating seniors, students have grown not only in knowledge but in wisdom. Our classical curriculum challenged young minds to think deeply and communicate clearly, always within the light of our Catholic faith. Whether diagramming Latin sentences or analyzing great works of literature, our students learned how to seek truth with both heart and mind.

A Life of Prayer and Sacrament

The rhythm of daily life at Padre Pio was once again anchored in prayer. Students participated in regular Mass, Adoration, and the Sacrament of Confession, as well as daily morning and midday prayers. Special feast days, liturgical seasons, and processions helped bring the Church’s calendar to life in our classrooms and hallways.

Forming the Whole Person

This year, our students expressed their creativity and talents through the annual art and science program “Living With the Psalms”, music recitals, and drama performances (such as our annual spring musical.Their work reflected both skill and soul. Athletics in the form of LifeRunners, visits to a rock climbing gym and Field Day also played an important role in student development, teaching teamwork, discipline, and resilience.

Service and Community

True to our patron’s example, our students and families embraced opportunities for service and charity—from supporting local shelters and pro-life initiatives to caring for each other within the school community. Our family events, feast day celebrations, and parent-led initiatives have made this year one of unity and generosity.

A Joyful Farewell

Perhaps most bittersweet of all was our Graduation Season, where we celebrated one of the largest graduating classes in school history. These young men and women are ready to carry the light of Christ into the world, and we send them forth with pride, prayer, and confidence in God's plan for their lives.

Looking Ahead with Gratitude

Thank you to our students, parents, faculty, and supporters for making this year such a remarkable one. Padre Pio Academy is more than a school—it’s a family, a mission, and a place where young hearts are formed for greatness.

As we look toward the summer and beyond, we give thanks for all that has been—and place all that is to come in the hands of Divine Providence.

“Pray, hope, and don’t worry.” – St. Padre Pio
