Meet Our Newest Board Member: David Myers

2026 welcomed a new board member to Padre Pio Academy, Mr. David Myers.

“Dutch” is a resident of Berea, OH. He is married to Catherine “Katie” Myers and has three children (Alex, Courtney and Lucy) and six grandchildren.  Mr. Myers moved to the area in 2000 to work as an engineer with the NASA Glenn Research Center.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois in the 1990s.  In addition to his technical degrees, he spent one year discerning a calling to the priesthood through his childhood diocese (the Diocese of Springfield, IL) at the St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in St. Meinrad, IN.  In the twenty-six years living in the area, Mr. Myers has been active within his parishes and numerous pro-life organizations.  Currently, he is a member of St Stephen’s and Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Churches.

He succeeds longtime board member, Joan Donnelly.
